SCIENCE QUIZ BOWL

Divisions: 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th

Purpose: To encourage scientific study and memorization of scientific facts and principles.

The competition:

1. Teams will be composed of four members for each division. A school may participate with less than four participants on a team. A school may have as many teams as they would like.

2. The contest will consist of two halves of 20 questions in each half.

3. The judge will ask the questions.  All questions will be multiple choice.

4. Every team competing will answer every question.

5. Points will be awarded for each correct answer. Incorrect answers will not be penalized.  The team with the most points wins.

6. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation. In each division, grade level, a plaque will be given to the champion Science Quiz Bowl Team.
