What is Scrip?
The gift cards are purchased by the school from the merchant and then sold at the full face value to school families. The difference becomes an ongoing source of income for the school and tuition relief for families. The more Scrip that is purchased; the more income for the school and tuition relief for families. For each set discount, NEWLHS receives 50% of the discount as income, and school families receive the other 50% as tuition relief. For example: A $100 gift card purchased from a merchant providing a 10% discount would generate $5 of income for the school and $5 of tuition relief for the school family. Scrip is available at the NEWLHS office. All orders must be accompanied with payment.
