All students at N.E.W. Lutheran High School are expected to take one Faith Development class per semester. Classes range from Old Testament or New Testament surveys for Freshmen and Sophomores to Peer Ministry, Marriage and the Family, Christian Doctrine, Christian Leadership or Church History for Juniors and Seniors.
The Bible is our main textbook for all classes but we also use resources from Focus on the Family, Concordia Publishing House and other faith-based organizations that help young people grow to the point where they can defend their Christian faith wherever they may go.
